I'm John and I always wanted to build a  place in the desert.  My wife, Anita, accommodated my wish and after many vacations to Tucson we bought land and started planning.  The result is the Casita and Casa that share a piece of the Sonoran Desert.  Though we miss the seasons of the Northeast, we love the desert.  A place of solitude and unexpected life that is the antithesis of our New England experience.    Following are pictures taken around our property
